YOUNG JEE NA, Program Director
Young Jee Na studied Special Education in Korea and developed and taught a Sunday School program in the church for children with disabilities. After immigrating to Canada, she met adult Koreans with disabilities. She felt the need of a program specifically for these people and started Home Camp, which is Here & Now Community Society’s first program. Home Camp started the summer of 2008 and is still taking place once every month for two nights and three days. She has special interest in finding their individual talents, the employment training of these adults and helping them find suitable jobs. She hopes that they live happy, meaningful and independent lives.
