Here and Now’s Home Camp, started from July 2008 for 2 nights and 3 days every month, provides people with disabilities with opportunities that other day program providers or families at home can hardly give: the opportunities that they all together eat, sleep, wake up, learn, teach, have fun, share, and help each other for 2 night and 3 days. They not only learn life and social skills but also experience respect and love through home camp. Home camp is for adult over 18 years old with disabilities but during summer vacation home camp for teens with disabilities are provided when families want.

• When: 3:00 pm on Thursday ~ 10:00 am on Saturday of Every First Week of the month

Skills in arts are important but more important is his or her own unique personality or color. Here & Now believes that people with disabilities have their own uniqueness and talent and want to express them through arts. At Art Studio which started from April 2011, participants learn drawing and painting skills, wood craft, and flowering.

• When: 4:00 pm ~ 6:00 pm every Tuesday

Some adults with developmental disabilities want do some more fun and meaningful activities even after coming back from their day program around 3:00 pm. When their parents work, the needs for afternoon programs are more. This is true for children and youth too. Most of them need to play together for socialization like other typical children, youth, and adults do. Here & Now’s Afternoon Programs aims to meet these needs. Here & Now is planning to provide a ‘Music & Dance’ as the first Afternoon Program in April, 2019 for adults with developmental disabilities as they enjoy singing and dancing. This program is not for professional teaching class but for providing opportunities for them to enjoy what they like and express their feelings.

Here & Now will expand its ‘Afternoon Program’ to exercise and sports for adults and also arts, music & dance, and exercises for youth and children.
